Jonathan Roberts
Principal Architect
BSc Arch, MArch, DipArch, MRIAI, Cert IOSH, PSDP
Jonathan’s experience bridges both the public & private sectors encompassing residential, commercial and healthcare developments of varying scale and complexity. He is a registered architect with the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI) and a qualified Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP), holding accreditation from both the Institute of Health & Safety Ireland (IOSH) and the RIAI.
An alumnus of University College Dublin, Jonathan has further expanded his academic research through focused postgraduate studies, including Sustainable Housing Development & Design at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. This research continues to inform JRA’s approach to environmentally conscious, socially responsible design. Jonathan has vast experience in 3D modelling and technical detailing, providing the skillset required to clearly communicate both built and unbuilt environments. These visual communication skills successfully aid clients, planners and stakeholders in understanding projects from early concept through to delivery, ensuring design intent is realised with confidence. This process bridges the gap between design and construction stages, allowing finer design intent to be carried through from the outset of a project. With a particular passion for bespoke furniture and joinery design, Jonathan believes, at all scales, that well-crafted innovative design can have a hugely positive influence on how we live, work and experience our surroundings.
As Principal Architect, Jonathan’s values of trust, transparency and purposeful design form the ethos of JRA and shape every client relationship.
